Sudden Activity

Written by Asian Federation at 21:50 21/6-2013

For several months now, the Asian Federation team bus has been resting untouched deep within the Norwegian woods. Today, the police received calls about strange noises from inside the vehicle, and they discovered something weird inside the bus. In the driver seat sat previous manager Joakim, with a classic caveman beard, rambling on about how the government set him up. It turns out, Joakim has been trapped within the not-so-big woods for almost half a year, until he finally found his way back to the Asian Federation bus.

Joakim wasted no time. "We gotta get you to a hospital," said the policemen. "No way! Fast on Wheels sign-up is in just 70 days, I gotta make sure my riders are ready!" Replied Joakim. The policemen tried, unsuccessfully, to convince Joakim that the team was dead, and that all of his riders have moved on to new, better teams. Joakim didn't listen, instead he assumed they had bailed out on him due to his strict rules about energy bars and canteens. Tarjei Amundsen was always a crybaby when it came to energy bars.

So Joakim sat out on a new adventure, he was set on climbing up the Cycling Simulator ladder once more. He wasted no time, signing both Florian Ilic and Everett Vanbibber within hours of his return to civilization. "They may look old, but heck, I need to start making money quick!", was his only comment regarding the transfers.

The team has already signed up for the race "Stange - Elverum", which was simply chosen due to it's practical location: only fifteen kilometers south of the forest Joakim was residing in. "Can you stop asking me questions? Who are you anyways?" was his only response when we asked what his goals for this race were.
